to Bozeman starting December 15 with a partnership with United Airlines.
The flight will operate Saturday’s throughout the ski season.
Gallatin Field Airport (BZN), near Bozeman is the seventh busiest airport
in the Pacific Northwest providing access to Big Sky Resort, 45 miles
away. With this addition, Bozeman will add to its non-stop winter service
from Minneapolis, Salt Lake City, Denver, Seattle, Chicago, Boise and
seasonal service from Detroit and Atlanta.
The new services were arranged with Big Sky Resort providing guarantees on the flights.

“We are delighted by this additional air service from one of the strongest emerging markets Big Sky has seen recently, said Meg O’Leary, director of sales and marketing. “Airlines recognize that Big Sky is a desirable area that fills flights and this is another example where we know we’ll succeed. The more seats on jets, the more seats in chairlifts.”
The San Francisco flights will be serviced by a United Express 70-passenger regional jet and will provide Saturday service from December 15, 2007 to March 29, 2008. The flight will depart Bozeman at 10:50 a.m. and arrive San Francisco at noon. Direct flights from San Francisco will depart at 12:35 p.m. and arrive in Bozeman at 3:49 p.m.
The daily non-stop service from Chicago will also
expand with twice-a-day flights during peak times. Last season Chicago
was introduced with a limited schedule that expanded to daily service
starting mid-February.
Big Sky Resort has long been a leader in attracting additional air service
into the Bozeman airport. In the past few years Big Sky worked with Delta
